Monday Poetry Train - J'ai demandé à la lune

This song is a little bit old, I remember it being on the top5.com franco at the same time as complicated from Avril Lavigne. So it is at least 5 years old. But it is only song that i adore from Indochine. I hope you enjoyed it as well...

Indochine - J'ai demandé à la lune

J’ai demandé à la lune /I ask to the moon
Et le soleil ne le sait pas /And the sun don't know it
Je lui ai montré mes brûlures /I show her my burns
Et la lune s’est moquée de moi /And she laught at me
Et comme le ciel n’avait pas fière allure / And as if the sky doesn't have a proud stand
Et que je ne guérissais pas / And I won't heal
Je me suis dit quelle infortune / I told to myself what a badluck
Et la lune s’est moquée de moi / And the moone laught at me
J’ai demandé à la lune / I ask to the moon
Si tu voulais encore de moi / If you still wanted me
Elle m’a dit "j’ai pas l’habitude / She told me " I'm not us
De m’occuper des cas comme ça" / To take care from case like yours"
Et toi et moi / And you and me
On était tellement sûr /We were so sure
Et on se disait quelques fois /And we said that sometime
Que c’était juste une aventure / That it was only an adventure
Et que ça ne durerait pas /And that it wouldn't last
Je n’ai pas grand chose à te dire / I don't have much to say to you
Et pas grand chose pour te faire rire /And not much to do to make you laught
Car j’imagine toujours le pire / Because I always imagine the worst
Et le meilleur me fait souffrir / And the best makes me suffer
J’ai demandé à la lune / I ask to the moon
Si tu voulais encore de moi / If you still wanted me
Elle m’a dit "j’ai pas l’habitude / She told me "I'm not use
De m’occuper des cas comme ça" / Of taking of case like yours"
Et toi et moi/ And you and me
On était tellement sûr /We were really sure
Et on se disait quelques fois /And we said that sometime
Que c’était juste une aventure /That it was only an adventure
Et que ça ne durerait pas /And that it wouldn't last

I'm so proud of this one that I could hardly wait for Monday to post it!! I hope you enjoye reading it as much as I did writting and reading it!! Happy Monday!!

Frozen / Gelée
So much/ Tellement
That I can't recall/ Que je ne peux me rapeller
Ever being human/ Si un jour, j'ai été humaine
What could/ Qu'est qui
Or who would/ Ou qui pourrait
Come / Venir
To bring back/ Ramener
Warmness / La chaleur
To this heart of ice/ À ce coeur de glace
So I could find/ Que je puisse retrouver
What my brain has forget/ Ce que mon cerveau a oublié
And find back/Et trouver
What gods have envy/ Ce que les dieux ont envié
To the humans/ Aux humains
Their soul/ Leur âme
And/ Et
Their hability to love/ Leur habileté à aimer
Come my savior/ Viens mon sauveur
Before there is no / Avant qu'il n'ait
Turning back/ Un point de sans retour
That my humanity/ Que mon humanité
Is forever lost/ Soit à jamais perdue

Monday poetry train - Étoile/Star

Ce soir, sous mes yeux/Tonight, under my eyes
Se trouve la voute étoilée/ Is the starry vault
Le ciel d'une telle clarté/ This sky so bright
Ces milles diamants/Of this thousand diamonds
Attachés au firmament/ Attached to the firmament
Qui peuvent/That could
À chaque instant /At each moment
Tomber/Fall
Venir caresser/ And come carress
Nos rêves/ Our dreams
Mais pourquoi/ But why
Certains s'acharnent/ Some try desperately
À payer des millions/ To pay millions
Pour avoir/ To have
Ce que je vis / What I lived
En ce moment/ in this very moment
Mais rien n'égalera/ But nothing can egual
La douceur/ The softness
De cette nuit étoilée/ Of this starry night

Monday poetry train - Rhume/Cold

Je hais ce sentiment / I hate that feeling
D,être prise dans mon propre corps / Of being trapped in my own body
De sentir ces orgarnes trop ardement / To be feeling the organs too much
D'avoir perdu le contrôle / To have lost control
DE sentir l'énergie / To feel the energy
Sortir peu à peu / Slipping little by little
De sentir l'air /To feel air
Qui devient tempête / Become a rage
Dans un corp / In a body
Qui semblait calme / That seems calm
L'instant d'avant /The moment before
Je veux respirer la vie / I want to breath life
Mais au contraire / But instead
Je semble la vomir / I feel like throwing it up
Mon repos n'est plus calme / My rest is not calm
Interrompu par des subresauts /Interrupt by vaults
Pour l'instant /For the moment
Je n'attends que le moment / I only wait for
Ou je pourrai respirer à pleins poumons /When I could breath fully
Et dire aurevoir / And say goodbye
À ce maudit rhume/ To this damn cold
