Looking at the Tree/Regardant l'Arbre
With Sparkle in their eyes/ Avec des étincelles dans leurs yeux
Seeing their reflection/ Voyant leur réflection
In the the icy ornements/ Dans les décorations scintillantes
Wondering what could be / Se demandant ce qu'il peut
Hidden inside these boxes/ Y avoir de cacher dans ces boites
Asking us/ Nous demandant
How many time/ Oh, combien de fois
Is left before that Day/ Reste-t-il de temps avant ce Jour
Could they turn on the light/ Peuvent-ils allumer les lumières
What would they leave for Santa/ Que resteront-ils au Père Noël
Tonight/ Ce soir
In a last prayer/Dans une dernière prière
They wish for everyone well being/ Ils souhaitent pour le bien être de tous

Cream of Musroom Rice Casserole
-Cook some of your favorite vegetables(For this recipe, I almost always use carrots slices and corn)
-Put them so they covert the bottom of a casserole dish, at about half of the hight of this one!
- Cook some fast cooking rice( Like Minute Rice)( I made about 1 1/2 - 2 cups)
- Pour some cream of mushroom(condense) over the rice
-Cook in the oven until the cream of mushroom is a little bit brownish

I will not take any soul captive /Je ne tiendrai aucune âme prisionnière
Because a soul must be free /Car une âme doit être libre
Free will must be its burden / Son fardeau sera son libre arbitre
No chain must entrap it / Aucune chaîne doit l'emprissoner
Not even a kiss /Même pas un baiser
From gentle lips /De tendres lèvres

Some will say / Certains diront
That your lover should hold your heart/ Que ton amoureux doit être teneur de ton coeur
But since the heart/ Mais puisque le coeur
Is strongly connected to the soul/ Est extrêmement connecté à l'âme
Wouldn't that be/ Ne serais-ce
Keeping a piece of the soul captive/ Tenir une partie de l'âme captive

But then/ Mais
If a love can make the soul bloom/ Si l'amour peut permettre à l'âme de s'épanouir
No chain will keep that soul captive/ Aucune chaine ne pourra emprisonner cette âme

Titillate your Taste-buds Tuesday

Since I'm feeling lazy today, and I'm kind of getting tired, here is my recipe:
Jill's PB&J
Take some fresh slice of bread
Spread some Smooth Kraft peanut butter. A thick portion!!
After, put some Rasberry Light Double Fruit jam.
EAt with some cold glass of milk and Enjoy.
To have all food group, I like to add up some baby carrot to the plate, but don't eat them with the PB&J, it shouldn't be good!!

Monday poetry train - L'amour

This is something I found this week while going some through old stuff. I probably wrote that during university. I was pretty sure at was bored at that moment, either in class or doing some homework! And seems like I was mad against a guy...

L'amour.../Love...
Qu'est-ce que c'est?/ What is it?
Un sentiment?/A feeling?
Un outil de torture?/A torture weapon?
Ou la plus belle chose au monde?/Or the greatest thing on earth?
Le saurons-nous jamais?/Should we ever know?

Pour l'instant, nous sommes si proche de l'extase/For this very instant, we are so close from ecstasy
L'instant d'après, nous tombons au fond du gouffre/ The moment after, we fall at the bottom of the abyss
Un touché peut nous faire hérisser les poils/ A touch can make our hair rise
Ou une caresse, autre chose/ Or a caress, something else

La recheche de l'orgasme/ The search for orgasm
Nous force à faire semblant/ Force us to fake
