Monday Poetry Train - Music

Music
La musique
Seems to be
Semble être
The only thing
La seule chose
That can fill
Qui puisse remplir
This emptyness
Le vide
Inside
À l'intérieur
The only thing
La seule chose
That can make me forget
Qui puisse me faire oublier
The absence of a carress
L'absence d'une caresse
Of someone loved
D'un être aimé
Music
La musique
Seems to be
Semble être
The only thing
La seule chose
That can ease
Qui peut soulager
The rage of being single
La rage d'être célibataire
Another day
Un autre jour
But music
Mais la musique
Won't be able
Ne peut pas
To heal
Guérir
The wound
La blessure
Of my heart
De mon coeur
Open
Ouvert
On emptyness
Sur le vide

Music is such a healer, Jill. It definitely is for me. I really like this:

    'The only thing
    La seule chose
    That can make me forget
    Qui puisse me faire oublier
    The absence of a carress
    L'absence d'une caresse'

    The only thing
    La seule chose
    That can ease
    Qui peut soulager
    The rage of being single
    La rage d'être célibataire
    Another day
    Un autre jour'

Jill, sweetie, how ya doin? As always your poetry is great. And you have no idea how nice it is to have both languages.

Also, I stopped by to invite you over to someone elses place tonight for a party. Link above. You know her as someone else buy she's not mentioning that name on the new blog. Also as another Lakota... hint hint
