Pourquoi / why

Pourquoi es-tu si aveugle
Pourquoi ne vois-tu pas
Ce que je vois en toi
Ne crois-tu pas
Que tu en vaut la peine
Pourquoi te croire idiot
Lorsque ton intelligence
Ferait briller le soleil
À travers n'importe laquelle tempête
Tu as je-ne-sais-quoi
Mais peut-être
Suis-je la seule

À qui tu le montre
Tu mets ton âme à nue
Devant moi
Pourquoi
Encore une fois
ME voila devant toi
À essayer de te faire réaliser
Ta valeur
Pourquoi
Dois-je encore pleurer
Car c'est peine perdu
Pourquoi

Why are so blind
Why don't you see
What I see in you
Don't you believe
That you are worth it
Why do you think you are stupid
When your intelligence
Could make the sun
Shine trough any storm
You have a little something
But maybe
Am I the only one
To who you show it
You are showing your whole soul
In front of me
Why
One more time
I am before you
Trying to make you realise
Your value
Why
Do I have to cry one more time
Because there is no hope
Why

nice Jill, I have a friend who is just now coming to understand what it is to have self worth, and how she deserves SO much more then what she had been settling for. I really like this.

The unfortunate problem that many women, and men, have in the Western world that they think they are of less value than they deserve to be.
